Blac Youngsta became the latest rapper to disregard JAY-Z’s dismissal of rappers stunting with stacks of cash to their ear online, as he posted a video that went one better than simply holding a stack of cash to his ear. While plugging his 4th of July appearance at V Live, the CMG rapper lifted a FedEx package that had been torn on one side to reveal columns of money stacks bound together by plastic.

JAY-Z has come under criticism from artists in the game who felt like he comes off as condescending when on “The Story of O.J.” he raps “Y’all on the ’Gram holdin’ money to your ear/There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here.” The line has prompted various artists to chime in, with Future posting a photo of him listening to a stack days later, and Boosie Badazz posting a video rant in which he defends the practice as a custom steeped in Louisiana’s urban culture at this point.

“I got love for JAY-Z, but y’all telling me I shouldn’t put stacks in my ear if JAY-Z says it? These Louisiana n***as don’t rock like that,” Boosie said.
