Jay-Z fans and general music listeners who don’t have Tidal but are anxious to listen to 4:44 will not have to wait long before it becomes available through other streaming outlets.
Billboard reports that the album is going up on Apple Music and iTunes on Friday, July 7. Under the terms of the project’s release, Tidal was to only obtain exclusive rights for one full week before it was to be made available to competitors. Such was one of the conditions laid out as part of the $200 million agreement reached between Sprint and Tidal early this year.
No official date has been assigned for the physical copies of Jay’s 13th studio album to be released, but fans would be interested in learning that it has been confirmed that store bought copies will include additional tracks.
